plans for 2012

The most foolish person in the world is the person that does the same thing and expects a different result. It’s not possible, it doesn’t work that way. We’ve come to the end of 2011 now, think about it, what are the things you’ve doing that didn’t give you any tangible result in fact those things that you did this year that brought tremendous results to you should be included too. The reason is simple; if you want a positive change in an area of your life and you applied some principles this year that didn’t work for you, its time to change them. Also, if you want a better improvement in what has been working for you, you need to change what you’ve been doing.
I am not sermonizing, I just think it’s a common sense that a lot of people including the older generations have not been maximizing yet we blame our parents, our friends and even the government. If you really desire a change, then you will think about what I said. Look around you. People are moving forward, they are a making positive mark in their generation. And for once, stop thinking about yourself alone, think about other people, who knows, maybe that’s why you haven’t been making progress, you think about yourself alone, you’re too selfish. But the good news is; you can change that because once there is life, there is hope, we are about to enter into another blissful year, make up your mind to make a positive change everywhere you go, give people the privilege of knowing you, let people be happy that they did business with you, let people believe that once you are a part of something, it can never go wrong. These can only be achieved by you taking out time to work on yourself, be the best(like someone I respect so much once said “you might not know everything but the one you know, make sure you know it well”). So would you rather stay foolish or make an impact…?

Why won't you smile...?

“A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks”
                                                                                                                      By Charles Cordy
Please permit my use of English in this little message you’re about to read; I typed it in a haste because I needed to do something really important but I felt it’s equally important I pass this message across to you asap cos it will do you alotta good. Happy reading…*wink wink*
I used to frown a lot (for no reason actually), it just dawn on me that I didn’t have friends, no one to talk to, people avoided me like plague. I was looking older than my age until one ‘”awesome” day I would never forget, I went for a meeting, a get together actually and there were a lot of people  around, lots of old time friends. I was really happy to see them, we played, joked and reminisced about our childhood and it was so funny how things have evolved and I just kept on smiling and laughing and taking pictures. Few days later, I saw those pictures I took and oh my God!!! They were the first best pictures I’ll ever take; I look so beautiful and like an angel. This was one of MY moments, my changing moment. I told you this story because I want you to partake (if you’ve not been partaking) out of the great benefits of smiling. If you have self esteem issues, personality issues, relationship issues and so on, smile is one of the quickest ways in solving them.
Smile is a great way to make yourself standout, it helps your body to function better and improve your attractiveness. It draws people closer to you, they will want to talk and associate with you, frowns, scowls and grimaces push people away.
Smile also changes your mood; it can trick your body into believing that everything is good. Smiling changes the mood of others; it is contagious. A smiling person lightens up the room. Smile makes you feel more confident and it helps you stay positive.
Smiling is a natural drug because when you smile, it releases endorphins, natural pain killers and serotonin which makes you feel good.
Smile also make you look younger; don’t go for a facelift, the muscles we use to smile lift the face. It prevents us from looking tired, stressed, worn out and overwhelmed.
So, won’t you rather smile?

Gay right palava

I was just surfing the net this morning and I saw something really awkward and amazing to me, can you just imagine what this world is turning into. I had to write it the way I saw it so that you will see it the way it was...

"GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann learned that protesters often come in adorable packages. A video captures the Minnesota congresswoman greeting 8-year-old Elijah and his mom at a signing event for Bachmann's book, "Core of Conviction: My Story," in South Carolina.
The candidate, who is an outspoken opponent of same-sex marriage, met her match with the soft-spoken, pint-sized activist. The video shows Bachmann leaning in to listen closely as the youngster whispers, "My mommy's gay, but she doesn't need fixing."
Bachmann bolts back up and manages a "bye bye" as mother and son walk away.
This isn't the first time that Bachmann has faced challenges to her stand on gay rights from the younger set. Last week, Bachmann was questioned by a teen about her opposition to gay marriage"
